The Bealtaine Festival at the National Museum in Dublin offers many exciting events for children.

Kids in Dublin can learn all about animals by visiting the Natural History and Archaeology & History Museums in Dublin over the coming weeks. On 22nd May at 11am, Education assistant, Brian Harding will teach children between 7-12 all about Conservation Issues. Brian will focus on Irish Birds and discuss the importance of conservation.

Meanwhile in the Natural History Museum, at 2.30pm on 22nd May, a talk will be given suitable to children from seven years plus. This talk will help children understand World Biodiversity and just why there are so many animals in the world today.

The Archaeology & History Museum hosts a clay pot making afternoon between 3-4pm on 23rd May. Artist Pia Rossi will show children from seven years plus how to make their own clay pots taking inspiration from the Museum's ancient pottery.

On the 27th May, the Bealtaine Festival will once again celebrate the animal kingdom focusing on Animals of the Irish Countryside. This tour is suited for kids from 7 years plus and will teach children all about the animals that can be found in Ireland.
