The Lambert Puppet Theatre is a real Dublin institution popular with kids and adults alike. It was established by Eugene Lambert over thirty years ago and now hosts performances every Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Eugene still runs this much-loved Puppet Theatre. There are over thirty shows performed in the theatre each year and over 80,000 adults and kids attend this Dublin theatre.

Kids can enjoy two performances playing at the Lambert for the summer. "Jack and the Beanstalk" and Oscar Wilde's "The Selfish Giant" will be performed every Saturday and Sunday. These highly entertaining shows make an ideal day out in Dublin for all the family.

The Puppet theatre is now providing a special Birthday Party Service. This is a fun new way to celebrate birthdays in a safe and entertaining environment. The puppet show will play for an hour and a half and includes Birthday Greetings. After the show, the kids are given a guided tour through the Puppet Museum and can see special puppets as old as the theatre itself. The kids are then presented with party bags and the parents can enjoy complimentary tea/coffee. The entire Birthday Party lasts for three hours and kids thoroughly enjoy themselves.

The Theatre House can hold up to 250 people. A coffee dock, a function room, the fantastic museum and a theatre shop where you can buy sweets and soft drinks are all on offer.
