Ever since Cornishman William Hamley opened his first store in London in 1760, Hamleys has been busy establishing itself as one of the most enchanting toystores in the world.

It's become synonymous with theatre, magic and entertainment, with demonstrators onhand to bring the store to life and plenty of special and unusual events to enjoy every week. The flagship store in London has become a huge favourite for exclusive launches, press photo-calls and parties - and Irish shoppers are now able to enjoy this unique shopping experience for themselves, with it's first ever stand-alone European store (outside of the London shop) at Dundrum Town Centre!

The store, which occupies 37,000 square feet over three floors, aims to replicate all the magical and experiential elements of the London branch. There's a huge range of toys on sale, of course, from the much-loved brands to more traditional and nostalgic toys (not to mention a great line of quirky and unusual products).

But there's also exclusive product launches, roaming magicians, a teddy bear park, a puppet area, a rally dome, a cuddly soft animal area and much more. There's also a very special fun2learn area for preschool children, and loads of special events - including face painting, treasure hunts, trails, amazing competitions and even visits from much loved children's characters.

Hungry shoppers are able to grab a bite to eat at the Hamley's Cafe, which sells delicious and nutritious meals and snacks, specifically appealing to children (though adults are sure to find them tasty too). There's even facilities for private parties and events.
