The Hunting Lodge has one large meeting room and 2 smaller rooms for break-out activities or intimate meetings. The Oriel Room can accommodate up to 55 people. The Cookery School offers you the chance to practise your skills in the castle’s original Victorian kitchens.

The Hunting Lodge is located at the gates of the Castle Leslie Estate. The estate offers a wide variety of activities for the active and the not so active. The estate’s new Equestrian Centre offers 21 miles (34 km) of trekking for novices and fast-paced, exhilarating cross-country rides over the 300 new jumps for the more experienced. Guests can also take advantage of the cookery school in the castle’s own Victorian kitchen. The estate also boasts a picturesque lake, which offers some of the best pike fishing in Europe. Fishing does incur an additional cost. There are a whole host of superb walks on the estate, in the nearby village of Glaslough and in the local area. Enjoy the fresh country air and the stunning scenery as you stroll the beautiful, green, rolling countryside. If all that sounds a little too energetic, you could relax in Ireland’s first truly organic Victorian spa, complete with Victorian steam boxes.

The Hunting Lodge is a restored stone stable-courtyard within the 1000 acres of countryside, ancient woods and lakes that form the Castle Leslie Estate. A modern equestrian centre and an organic Victorian spa are on site. With its hand-carved ceiling and old oak beams, Snaffles Brasserie is a modern and atmospheric place to dine. Conor’s Bar is a snug cellar bar with roaring fire, cosy corners and great music. The Hunting Lodge is a 10-minute drive from Monaghan town, yet is perfectly and peacefully secluded.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
