Brooklyn-based nu-jazz project Dirty Projectors teams up on tour with innovative British post-jazz quintet Polar Bear, and L.A. experimentalists Lucky Dragons. Dirty Projectors, led by genius songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dave Longstreth, were signed to Domino following the release of Rise Above, their critically acclaimed “reimagining” of Black Flag’s Damaged. They are set to release a new album early this year.

Minimalist electro-pop outfit Fujiya&Miyagi bring their unique and addictive concentration of eighties synth/krautrock-influenced sounds, and surreal phonetic lyrics to Tripod. 2008 saw the addition of a fourth to the former trio, and the release of their much anticipated and highly acclaimed album Lightbulbs.

Winners of the prestigious Radar award at last week’s NME Awards, hotly-tipped electro drone-rock duo The Big Pink headline at Crawdaddy ahead of the release of their much anticipated debut album. Their London-born sound is an intense swamp of droning feedback guitars mixed with crystalline melody, dreamy vocals, gritty beats, and dense reverb production, courtesy of former Alec Empire guitarist Robbie Furze, and Merok records boss Milo Cordell.

Living legend Ice Cube returns to Dublin after a decade and a half, touring his incendiary latest album Raw Footage. His 60 minute show will feature all the classic songs from his 25 year career, including tracks from his time with genitors of hip-hop N.W.A.
