Abbeyfield Hotel was built to 4-star specifications and has been open since April 2008. The leisure centre and spa will open at the end of summer 2008. Two treatment rooms are available at the hotel, and a kids’ club is run at weekends.

Just 2 minutes from Ballaghaderreen Town on the Sligo Road and 15 minutes from Knock Airport. Galway is only a 45-minute drive, whilst Sligo is a 30-minute drive.

By Train: There are regular train services to the stations at Castlerea and Boyle, a 20-minute drive away. By Plane: Ireland Knock West Airport is only 15 minutes away and Sligo Airport is 45 minutes away.

Important information

The leisure centre is currently under construction. The construction should be complete by the end of summer 2008.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site.
