The Gaiety Theatre has delighted generations of audiences for over a century with their annual pantomime, and this year’s Jack and the Beanstalk is guaranteed to entertain and enchant! With all the elements of the traditional pantomime, and a host of exciting new twists and surprises, Jack and the Beanstalk is set to thrill audiences of all ages.

Coming from a safe life with his mum Dame Spratt and beloved cow Daisy, everything changes for Jack when he swaps Daisy for some magic beans that grow into an enormous beanstalk… Jack and the Beanstalk is a chance to follow Jack up that beanstalk and into another world with a very mean giant and a castle in the clouds. Jack must learn to rely on his friends and his wits in order to save the lovely princess. Fee, Fie, Foe, Fum, it’s going to be a lot of fun!

The cast includes Fair City star George “Mondo” McMahon, Ireland’s sweetheart Leanne Moore, family favourite Richie Hayes (Buttons from last year’s Cinderella), fairy-on-rollerskates Louise Lenihan, youngsters from the Billie Barry Stage School, and panto anti-hero Michael Grennell. As this year’s Baddie he looks forward to once more terrifying parents and children alike. Oh yes he does! Jack and the Beanstalk is Produced by John Costigan and Directed and Choreographed by Daryn Crosbie. Musical Direction is by Peter Beckett and the script is by Malachy McKenna and Gary Cooke.
