“Call me Ishmael…”..One of the most famous opening lines in literature will open an exciting new theatrical adaptation of Herman Melville’s Moby Dick...
Considered by many to be the greatest American novel Moby Dick tells the story of the adventures of the wandering sailor Ishmael and his voyage on the whale ship Pequod, commanded by Captain Ahab. Ishmael soon learns that Ahab seeks one specific whale, Moby-Dick, a white whale of tremendous size and ferocity. Comparatively few whale ships know of Moby-Dick, and fewer yet have encountered him. In a previous encounter, the whale destroyed Ahab's boat and bit off his leg and Ahab intends to take revenge.
