The superb 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course was designed by Des Smyth and was opened in 1993. The course was formerly the famous Ballykisteen Stud. The hotel’s leisure centre houses an indoor swimming pool, a spa pool, a steam room and a sauna. On the first floor, there is a well-equipped gymnasium and a weights room with a glass wall overlooking the tenth fairway. The glass wall helps create a light, airy atmosphere. All guests are entitled to free use of the swimming pool, the sauna, the steam room and the gym. The Serenity Day Spa offers peaceful, tranquil surroundings, ideal if you are on a restful, relaxing and restorative break or just if you fancy a little pampering and some well-earned indulgence. The spa offers a variety of relaxing and therapeutic treatments to rejuvenate mind, body and soul. The professional therapists are all highly trained in body massage; try one of the many massage treatments available in the Beauty Suite for a relaxing or uplifting experience. All of the rooms have large, comfortable beds with luxury mattresses and a choice of pillows from a unique à la carte pillow menu. The rooms feature an ergonomic workspace with a desk lamp and a large, spacious bathroom with a power shower. All rooms overlook the golf course or have a view of the Tipperary Racecourse.

Travel information

The hotel is situated on the N24, the main Limerick to Waterford Road, just 30 minutes from Limerick city and 5 minutes from the town of Tipperary. By Car (from Shannon): - From Shannon, follow the signs for Limerick (N18). - At Limerick, follow the signs for Waterford/Tipperary (N24). - Pass the villages of Pallasgreen, Oola and Monard. - Approximately 1 km after passing through Monard, you will see the hotel on the right-hand side, opposite Tipperary Racecourse, at Limerick Junction. By Train: The hotel is just 500 metres from Limerick Junction train station.
