Arlington Lodge Country House Hotel is conveniently located in Waterford city and yet so splendidly isolated from the everyday world. Dating from the early 18th century the house has long been intertwined in the history of Waterford and its people. In 1871, it became the seat of the Roman Catholic Bishops of Waterford and Lismore, and remained with the church until 1997.

Quick description
This is a gracious 18th century Georgian house, formerly the Bishop's Palace for over 200 years. It was converted in to a luxury town house & restaurant in 2000 and is situated in its own private grounds, only 8 minutes walk from the city centre. The emphasis is on hospitality, good food and wine. Breakfast is a delight and should never be missed.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.
