The restaurant is noted for its freshly prepared local produce and the beautifully appointed lounge bar captures the peace, tranquillity and homeliness of this fine hotel. Horse riding, tennis, golf and picturesque forest walks are nearby. The area enjoys the highest level of sunshine and the lowest rainfall in Ireland. It also produces 95% of all fresh fruit and honey produced in the country.
